The pulp sheet machine operates on the same fundamental wet-press-dryer principle as a paper machine, but at lower basis weight (750–850 GSM) and with specific requirements for sheet formation uniformity — since any basis weight variation in the sheet becomes a mixing inconsistency when the sheet is re-pulped by the customer. Rajshree's headbox and forming section designs for pulp sheet machines achieve formation CV (coefficient of variation) below 2.5% — meeting the most demanding market pulp customer specifications.
After drying, the pulp web passes through a precision cross-cutter that cuts sheets to the internationally standard 600×800 mm format (or customer-specific dimensions), counts and stacks the sheets into bales, and feeds the baling and wrapping system.
