Rajshree Group is a leading turnkey supplier of Bagasse Pulp Mill Machinery in India. Sugarcane bagasse — the fibrous residue after juice extraction — is an eco-friendly and abundantly available raw material for paper manufacturing.
In 2022 we built a complete pulp and paper mill with an integrated chemical recovery system in Patna, Bihar. Since 2003, Rajshree Group has delivered 22+ pulp and paper projects across three continents — India, Africa and the Middle East — totalling over 2,000 TPD of installed capacity.

Why Bagasse is the Future of Sustainable Pulp Manufacturing
India generates over 90 million tonnes of sugarcane bagasse annually, of which a significant portion is still burned as low-grade fuel or left to decompose. Rajshree Group transforms this agricultural by-product into a premium fibrous raw material for paper manufacturing — dramatically reducing the industry's dependence on wood pulp and forest resources.
Unlike wood-based pulping that requires 7–10 years for tree maturity, bagasse is immediately available every cane-crushing season. Our depithing systems remove the soft pithy core before pulping, which increases fibre yield and reduces chemical consumption by 18–22%. The pith is then used as boiler fuel, creating a near zero-waste operation on-site.
Rajshree's bagasse pulp mills have been successfully commissioned in India, Nigeria, Tanzania, and the Middle East — each designed around local sugarcane availability, water supply constraints, and regulatory requirements. Our process engineers perform site-specific bagasse quality testing before finalising the mill configuration, ensuring optimal pulp brightness and strength for your target paper grade.
Our proprietary wet depithing system achieves pith removal efficiency of 92–96%, versus the industry average of 85–90%. This directly translates to lower chemical consumption, better pulp drainage on the paper machine, and higher final paper brightness — a measurable competitive advantage for your mill.
